New Lake District retreats

The accommodation is perched in an elevated position on the hillside above Ullswater Lake, the views across water to the fells beyond are magnificent, it’ll be difficult to keep your phones away if you want to take some Instagram-worthy snaps of your world away from home.The Great Barn is a beautifully converted barn which accommodates eight guests in luxurious comfort. The generously sized living areas will certainly impress in addition to the state-of-the-art entertainment systems.  The light and bright dining room with views across Ullswater Lake is a beautiful place to enjoy breakfast or dine in style, you can easily spill out onto the large patio area and take in the marvellous vistas on a warm summers evening.

Waternook can accommodate up to twelve guests in complete luxury. The six bedrooms are individually and exquisitely decorated, and each have the benefit of their own En-Suite facilities. There’s an amazing cinema room with a full entertainment package for you and your guests to relax in front of.  If you wish to take it easy and relax then the holistic Laconium, hot tub and infinity terrace will certainly let you unwind. Waternook even has its own bar, outdoor kitchen and barbeque, the perfect tools required for al-fresco dining.

If you don’t want to arrive at either retreat by car you can arrange to arrive in luxurious style - by private helicopter transfer! Other optional extras to choose from when staying at either retreat include a private chef, waiting staff and housekeeping staff to look after your every need while you holiday. Take to the skies and explore the beauty of the Lake District by helicopter, enjoy the stunning scene of fireworks lighting up the sky, book a boat trip on the shores and you can even try out a guided walk.
