Reviews

8 of us stayed for a long weekend with 2 young children. The cottage is prefect in so many ways, the location, scenery, cleanliness, and safety for children. The owners are lovely, welcoming and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay and will be re-booking! The best holiday let we’ve stayed in for years, hands down.

Mrs H,

We have had a perfect week at this cottage. The cottage itself is really beautiful. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and living room, the beautiful views from every window, the various reading nooks, amazing outdoor hot tab with georgeous views on the surrounding mountains, and the outdoor playground. Our group had five children aged 0-12 and all loved it as much as the adults did. We enjoyed hikes right from the cottage, as well as other nearby locations by car, including the beach and a forest walk at Coed-y-Brenin (with a fun playground). The owners were very kind and helpful (e.g., when we discovered one item being broken at the cottage from before we came, they bought and brought a new one right the next day). We would love to come back again.

Dr T,

Fantastic cottage, well equipped with jaw-dropping views.

Mr H,

I loved this property and have been to Wales many times and this was definitely my favourite place to stay. The mountains are incredible. The cottage was immaculate, the hosts were lovely and very welcoming. There are lovely walks and adventures to be had in the local area. We can’t wait to book and go back. :-)

Mrs T,

Fantastic property and the history of how the barn was rebuilt was brilliant. Thought the landscape photos were photo shopped but they are definitely real - Stunning location, certainly the place to unwind and relax. Lots of walks locally to try and further afield Llandudno and Porthmadog worth a visit. Zip world amazing!! All in all thoroughly recommend

Mrs K,

Stunning location,

Ms S,

This beautifully converted barn was perfect for our family holiday. The facilities couldn't be faulted. The kitchen/living space was great for 7 of us to dine and socialise, as was the patio, and the bedrooms were spacious and well laid out and equipped with comfy beds and soft bedding, The owners have thought of everything; plenty of crockery, glasses, cooking equipment etc, laundry facilities, BBQ, hot tub, outdoor play equipment and play area, plenty of parking. The owners are friendly, welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. The setting is absolutely idyllic, quiet and peaceful and surrounded by mountains. Beautiful walks right from the door. Highly recommend.

Mrs B,

We all absolutely loved our stay here. The location is a ten minute drive from the nearest village and has the most wonderful views of the mountains. The night sky was just incredible. There are some great walks from the property and lots of places to visit within an hours drive. We would love to return!

Ms H,

Beautiful place with beautiful view to spend your time with family.

Mr G,

This cottage is incredible! The views are incredible and the location is great. The cottage had everything we needed (plus a hot tub!) and the location was great for nearby walks. We feel truly relaxed - thank you.

Dr W,

Stunning property, extremely comfortable and high spec. Everything you could need was provided. The views are incredible, we were blown away!

Mrs F,

We loved our stay it this cottage! We have a young family and we stayed during Christmas. The property is beautiful, in a really nice, scenic location and reasonably well placed for local attractions. Fion and Dawyd are super nice and so helpful and live right next to the cottage. Everything was taken care of I really hope we’ll be back soon, it was a lovely stay.

Mr W,

We had an amazing stay! The barn is a great standard with everything you need. The views were phenomenal! If you're looking to switch off from everyday life and stay somewhere luxurious, this is the place!
