The sitting and dining is where the real design impact awaits. The warm of the blue-grey walls against the exposed brick style wallpaper shoot you to any trendy city you can think of. The pretty downlights over the dining table are not unlike those you might find in a bustling city coffee shop or bistro, while the rustic country mirror gives a sense of space to this beautiful yet city-busy room. Capable cooks will delight in the tools of the trade provided in the galley kitchen. This cool apartment is ideal for romantics who are looking for something a little bit different. One allocated parking space is also included.

On your doorstep you’ll discover local walking trails, independent shops and a charming pub. Shop ‘til you drop in the town’s boutiques or go off-grid Aldeburgh style with a boat trip on the Alde estuary. Time your visit right for performances at Snape Maltings, or follow in the footsteps of the town’s most famous resident of times gone by, Benjamin Britten.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

The canopied four poster bed will work for some, while the chic furnishings will work for others. There’s a large wardrobe and plenty of storage should you decide to stay a while in your seaside retreat. The en suite bathroom with its tub and shower over is perfect for soaking away the real urban stresses as you relax into your holiday. An anti-steam mirror ensures your city chic appearance goes unhindered.

Apart from arriving to no heating in property on a cold December day, which was fixed quite quickly by the marvellous maintenance team callout, another comfortable stay in 'Interludes'.

The apartment is well situated for the Aldeburgh coastline and town centre and is in a quiet and attractive location with good parking The apartment is comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped but lacking cupboard space to store dried food. The bathroom needs updating - the bath and shower need to be updated or preferably replaced

We have been regularly staying here on our visits to Aldeburgh, choosing this for its comfort, facilities and location, which speaks volumes about Interludes. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need, and the cupboard has the all important 'Henry' as well as other helpful equipment. The whole apartment is well decorated and furnished. We still haven't 'braved' the laserdiscs yet... We have recommended Interludes to friends and will continue to do so.

We enjoyed great week at Interludes, the cottage is comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. There is a lovely walk along the footpaths to the beach, which takes about 15 minutes to walk.

An excellent, comfortable stay. The place was so well equipped, warm and tastefully decorated. We immediately felt at home. A great base for our walks and strolling into town in the evening. Shops nearby for most of our groceries. The area has so much to offer. We enjoyed dog walks. Lovely shops in Aldeburgh for tasteful knick knacks and food.

Interludes is an ideal location in Aldeburgh for two people. 10 mins walk from prom, or town shops. Tesco and Co-op supermarkets even nearer.. Cosy with a small kitchen and good equipment.

This was our 3rd visit to Interludes so it must be obvious that we rate it highly. Excellent parking, easy to walk to shops and pubs etc, or onto coast path to Thorpeness. We love the decor which is slightly quirky and not your typical seaside holiday cottage. Thanks
