Dating back to 1828, The Old Warehouse in Woodbridge is tucked away just off the main Thoroughfare, in one of the prettiest and quietest streets in this popular market town. This unique property cleverly converted into a stunning self-catering holiday home which is truly one of a kind.
The property has had various uses in the past including its original purpose as a Wesleyan Meeting House, a corset factory in 1888 and a furniture bonding warehouse.
In 1978, The Old Warehouse was converted into a home and has undergone a complete transformation. The interior of this holiday home has been finished to a very high standard with a contemporary industrial vibe, similar to that of a New York style loft apartment, very unusual in the market town of Woodbridge.
As expected with a luxury holiday home there is comfort around every corner with sumptuous seating and soft furnishings throughout, a cosy woodburner for the winter months and high-quality beds ideal for a good night’s sleep. Spread across two main levels, the ground floor consists of the three bedrooms ideally suited for three couples but could also work well for a family group. There is also a separate snug area with its own TV, perfect for children to enjoy, giving the adults some peace and quiet.
On the first floor is the main living area which is all open plan with exposed brick, hints of copper, metal work and a huge skylight creating the centre stage for family gatherings or simply relaxing and enjoying this amazing conversion.
The Old Warehouse is a great choice for weekly stays or short breaks and is ideal at any time of year. This holiday home has to be seen to be believed. Shop: 100 yards Pub: 200 yards.
