The Cornish coast stretches around the county for about 422 miles, and features a huge array of rugged, windswept and daunting cliffs, as well as stacks, coves and bays. Porthleven is a small but stunning port town perfectly situated on Cornwall’s coastline. It is home to a population of just over 3,000 people, and a harbour that while dating back centuries, still is an active fishing hub bringing in its load of delicious crab, lobster, crayfish and more. The town also boasts a wonderful array of charming shops, local business outlets, pubs, cafes and eateries that please resident and visitor alike. The port of Porthleven is also an excellent base from which to explore the amazing county of Cornwall.
